A rare 100% Merlot cuvée from 55-year-old vines on clay-limestone soils, certified organic (Ecocert). Yields are limited (40–45 hl/ha), and vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel or concrete tanks, followed by a four-week maceration for optimal extraction of flavor, tannin, and color.

The defining feature of this wine is its élevage: it matures in barrels that previously held Cognac for 25 years, imparting unique aromatic complexity and depth. The result is a rich, powerful wine with layered fruit, spice, and subtle spirit-kissed nuances, offering both elegance and intrigue.

Open two hours before serving and decant for best expression. Pairs beautifully with slow-braised beef cheeks or even dark chocolate fondant. With 10–15 years of aging potential, this is a Merlot of both power and longevity.
