A historic Grand Cru Classé estate with roots going back to 1389, Couvent des Jacobins farms 10.7 certified organic hectares in the heart of Saint-Émilion. The 2015 is a blend of 85% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot from 50-year-old vines, hand-harvested and aged 12 to 15 months in French oak. 25,000 bottles produced.

Ripe fruit, freshness, and silky tannins, with Merlot providing flesh and roundness while Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot contribute backbone and complexity. A wine of real structure and finesse with excellent cellaring potential.
