Chateau Cantinot 2020

The flagship cuvée of Château Cantinot, crafted in collaboration with World’s Best Sommelier Andreas Larsson. A blend of 55% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Malbec from 45-year-old vines rooted in gravel, clay, and limestone soils. Each grape variety adds its hallmark: Merlot for fruit and roundness, Cabernet Sauvignon for structure, Cabernet Franc for freshness, and Malbec for spice.

Fermented in large oak vats with gentle cold soak, light extraction, and integral vinification, then aged 18 months in wood. The result is dense and expressive, showing morello cherry, sweet spice, and a touch of balsamic. Firm, refined tannins lead to a long, fresh finish with persistent aromatics.

Pair young vintages with premium cuts of meat and grilled vegetables with aromatic herbs; older bottles shine with refined dishes like chicken supreme with morels or rich mushroom sauces.
