Wine in Blaye Rouge 2020

A well-balanced Bordeaux blend from La Rose Bellevue, crafted from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon grown on old vines (25–35+ years) in the gravel and sandy-clay soils north of the Gironde.

Hand-harvested and vinified using traditional Bordeaux methods, with 20 days of maceration for rich color and aroma, then aged 12 months in stainless steel and French oak (40% used barrels). The result is a supple, round wine with fine tannins and aromas of red cherries, blueberries, subtle toast, and spice.

Versatile and food-friendly, it pairs beautifully with game, red meat, duck, and spicy dishes.
